Course overview

This self-paced online course examines health and healthcare in Canadian Northern and Indigenous communities (BC focus). It covers historical/social determinants, cultural safety, traditional healing, healthcare delivery, and fosters culturally appropriate health approaches. This program does not require approval by the registrar of the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post Secondary Education and Future Skills. As such, the registrar did not review this program.
